How amazing are these clay-and-yarn pots from artists Natalia Ortega Gamez, an artist in the Dominican Republic? (Click here to check out her site [2].)
I think it would be so cool to make something similar yourself, like by drilling holes in a wooden bowl from a thrift shop or even by creating holes in a ceramic bowl before firing it, and then crocheting through the holes. So many possibilities!
Has anybody out there experimented with adding crochet to unexpected items? Do tell!
