How to Cross Stitch on Crochet

1 Start by bringing the threaded yarn needle up from the back of the work in the lower left corner of the stitch. Cross over one crochet stitch, insert the threaded yarn needle into the upper right corner of the stitch and out through the lower left corner of the next stitch.

2 On the way back over the first half of the stitches, insert the threaded yarn needle into the upper left corner of the stitch and out through the lower right corner of the next stitch.

3 Work back and forth in rows, first making all the left-to-right diagonal crosses, then working back over them with right-to-left crosses.
