Problem

I am working on the yoke section.  I understand that when working the first 15 rounds, I am adding 10 stitches per round and should end up with 202.  It seems however, that I keep ending up one stitch short on each round.  I feel like I am doing something wrong when I turn.  I do two half dc in the last stitch, one sc, turn and start with two hdc in the first stitch (not the turning chain)--but somehow I keep losing a stitch.  Help!

The problem when you turn...

Hi, I don't have this pattern but from what you wrote it sounds like you are doing 2 half dc in the last stitch, 1 sc and then turning and only doing 2 hdc's in the first stitch? Do you not need 1 sc before the 2 hdc's after you turn?

If that's the case, I think that would solve the one-stitch-short problem. Also that should make it look right too. Had it been looking "off?"

I'm just offering this suggestion based on what you wrote. I don't have this issue of the magazine.

I hope this gives you an idea, or helps get you started again.

Good Luck!
