Filled with silk flowers or displayed on their own, these textural vases add a crafty touch to any room. Try making one and filling it with posies for a perfect personal gift.

YARN
RED HEART Eco-Cotton Blend, 3oz/85g balls, each approx 145yd/132m (recycled cotton/acrylic)
1 ball each:
• #1105 Vanilla
• #1645 Moss
• #1372 Midnight Marl
NOTE: Yarn quantities are sufficient to make at least one small, medium, and tall vase.
CROCHET HOOK
• Size E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook or any size to obtain correct gauge
NOTIONS
• Newspaper
• Plastic wrap or plastic garbage bag
• Heavy cardboard—at least 12 x 12"/30.5 x 30.5cm
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup water
• Saucepan
• Stirring spoon
• Tongs
• Gloves
• 4 balloons—9"/23cm
• Paper towel tube
• Yarn needle
