This traditional Scottish pattern makes a comeback with colorful cotton yarn.

SMC Catania, 1.75oz/50g balls, each approx 137yd/125m (cotton)

• 1 ball #128 Fuchsia (A)
• 1 ball #114 Cyclamen (B)
• 1 ball #106 White (C)
• 1 ball #244 Forest (D)
• 1 ball #253 Jade (E)
• 1 ball #255 Pearl (F)
• 1 ball #205 Apple Green (G)
• 1 ball #242 Grey (H)
• 1 ball #105 Natural (I)

Note A, B, and C are used for potholder #1; D, E, and F for potholder #2; G, H, and I for potholder #3. One ball each of 3 colors is sufficient to make 2 potholders, with more than ¾ of the 3rd color remaining.

CROCHET HOOK

• Size D/3 (3.25mm) crochet hook

NOTIONS

• Craft felt trimmed to 7.75 x 7.75"/19.5 x 19.5cm square for each potholder
• Sewing needle and matching thread (to match first yarn color and craft felt)
• Yarn needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Approx 8 x 8"/20.5 x 20.5cm square
