Creme de la Creme Yarn choice..

This pattern is beautiful! But I'm quite surpised at the yarn choice - Creme de la Creme to me seems like it would be a little bit heavy.

Doris, you have outdone yourself again with this pattern. It is extremely easy to read and I love your comments!

Summer swingy skirt

Hi I really like the skirt as well but I have run into a delimma when it comes to round 6, the last row says to joiin with ch 2. I have no clue what shes saying. Maybe you can help

Response to round 6 question

"Join with chain 2, dc in first sc" means this... Do 2 chains.  Stop.  Then instead of like most patterns where you then do a slip stitch into the first single crochet at the beginning to form a round, you instead do a double crochet into that first stitch.  What this does is it makes the next stitch of the next round be precisely in the middle of that "hole" formed by the 2 chains and the double crochet.

summer fling skirt

Hi thanks for the response. I figured it out. Actually the diagram showed the chain 2 then I felt silly. It turned out great and Im now on the second one. Nice for a gift.

oops

sorry bout that...guess it's not a free pattern, just a preview. Still, it's a great skirt.

Swing Skirt

I love this skirt. Why can I not see the chart?
