Submitted by shanionie on Tue, 2010-08-17 17:21.Lauren,
Do you allow this hat to be made to be sold in an etsy shop?
Just Finished – Yea!
Submitted by plentyofyarn on Tue, 2009-12-29 14:29.Hello all, Thanks to the ladies who warned that this pattern ran small. I inserted an additional round, increased my hook size, and was able to make an adult size hat. I am so excited. It looks nice and cozy. I cannot wait to get it up on my Etsy store and see how it does. Thanks Crochet Today for such great patterns!
Sincerely,
~V
How do you get these patterns
Submitted by paxsonsteph on Tue, 2009-12-15 10:50.I subscribed, now I can't figure out how to get these patterns? What about patterns from old issues? Is there some link I'm missing?
No Missing Link

Hat
Submitted by shanionie on Mon, 2009-12-14 17:35.The first time I stitched this hat, it ended up being the size for a 2 yr old. Granted I did not check the gauge. The 2nd time I made the hat it maybe fit a 5 yr old. I will use a larger hook to hopefully make a hat for an adult. Love the hat and got many compliments on it. Good thing I needed hats for children :)
Hi Shanionie, are you holding
Submitted by Lauren on Tue, 2009-12-15 16:31.Hi Shanionie, are you holding your yarn doubled? If you are, it's hard to say why the hat is ending up so small, but you could go up in hook size and add more expansion rounds to get a larger size. Hope this helps.

HAT
Submitted by tricetta on Sun, 2009-12-13 22:03.I stitched this hat according to instructions. It was MUCH MUCH smaller even though I double checked the gauge. Could the addition on one more expansion row work? Anyone else have an issue?
oh, gauge
Submitted by Lauren on Tue, 2009-12-15 16:30.Hi Tricetta, just to be sure - are you holding the yarn doubled? If so, I think adding another expansion round (or two!) would definitely help you get a bigger hat. But if the hat you made is way way too small you might want to go up a hook size or two as well, just so you don't end up with a weirdly tall hat. Hope this helps!
