The purse frame I mentioned
Submitted by MelissaT on Tue, 2012-10-30 19:58.The purse frame I mentioned worked! I uploaded a photo, so you can see how the curve of it works with the purse opening if you'd like. It makes the coin purse look a little bit different than the one pictured in the magazine, but still works fine.

I just love this sweet little pattern (Thank you, Crochet Today!)!

Submitted by RedHeaded55 on Sat, 2012-10-06 08:04.I think this is a really cute pattern, my question is where do you get the sew on metal purse frame? Thanks!
I have seen a 3.5" purse
Submitted by MelissaT on Sat, 2012-10-06 16:40.I have seen a 3.5" purse frame--although with a more squared-off profile--at (no connection to the store) Jo-Ann stores locally and online. (A different design at each.) They are not cheap, but these are the only two places I have seen them, since I don't shop on etsy. Crochet Today has provided a couple of etsy links . . . maybe on the corrections page for the pattern.
I have since seen the same
Submitted by MelissaT on Wed, 2012-10-10 15:55.I have since seen the same fancy frame Jo-Ann's online has (the brand is Darice) on Amazon. The frame comes in gold or silver. It's the frame I plan to use, so if it doesn't work with the pattern, I'll post an update!
