Pattern Preview

This is not a free pattern, but rather just a preview for this pattern. To get the pattern you need to order the magazine it was in. Check the tags below the pattern to find the issue in which it was published, then scroll to the bottom of this page and check the sidebar found under the "subscriber services" link to get details on how to order back issues.

Back order - thank you!

I'm in the uK so have contacted Customer Services for help. Thanks for the reply. :)

You're welcome!

Wow - thanks! I've never commented on a website before like this, but felt compelled to after reading the earlier comment on this pattern!

You are more than welcome!

Special issue

I have a special issue of crochet today which was out around Oct 09 (approx)but cannot find anything on this site that shows it. The noughts and crosses and ice cream cones are a big hit. I would love to make the creativity baskets on page 68 but it doesn't say how to make the sides stiff. Can I please have some help on this. Thank you

special issue

All of the patterns in the special issue are on the site. The Creativity Baskets can be found here. However, there's nothing there about making the sides stiff--the pieces all work up with enough structure to not need anything else.

i love these!!!

I'm so delighted to see these rocks in this magazine!! I have been a fan of Margaret's work for a while now! Thank you Crochet Today!!

Hey, fawnscrafts, it may not be your thing, but, To Each Their Own.

Lacy River Rocks...

Gosh I agree... they are only river rocks... if only I could find nice smooth large enough river rocks I would be one very happy crocheter... Girls "built a bridge & get over it"... you are not going to like everything offered but that doesn't mean that everyone 'has' to think like you do... thank goodness... Keep it coming on Crochet today... B

all things come from somewhere

A few river rocks here and there are much better than all of the crazy mining, manufacturing or other processing, shipping, packaging, and other things we do to products. The cotton in the thread is probably worse for the environment than someone grabbing 10 river rocks to make as gifts.

Good to be conscious, but think about the whole picture and the alternatives. The thing I like best is that if/when you're done with them you can put them back in the river instead of throwing them away.

wow

wow you two seem pretty passionate and and excessive about rocks being where they belong.  I hope neither of you have pets because if it is unethical to bring a couple of rocks inside than it must be unethical to own animals.  Grow up, its a rock, its not that big of a deal.
