Lacy River Rocks...

Gosh I agree... they are only river rocks... if only I could find nice smooth large enough river rocks I would be one very happy crocheter... Girls "built a bridge & get over it"... you are not going to like everything offered but that doesn't mean that everyone 'has' to think like you do... thank goodness... Keep it coming on Crochet today... B

wow

wow you two seem pretty passionate and and excessive about rocks being where they belong.  I hope neither of you have pets because if it is unethical to bring a couple of rocks inside than it must be unethical to own animals.  Grow up, its a rock, its not that big of a deal.

Lacy River Rocks

I must say, I agree.  (Not with the spammer, but with fawnscrafts).

In an issue that was supposed to be about "green" crocheting, the use of river rocks for crafts is just a bit contradictory.

River rocks belong in the river...not on someone's knick-knack shelf.

It's not environmentally friendly to denude beaches and rivers of the rocks.  Using them for any kind of craft is unethical.

Lacy river rocks (Choke, choke)

Oh wow, this was a waste of ink and paper.

I cannot see any beauty in covering rocks with thread, even though it is a fancy pants way of covering  them.  Rocks belong outside, not on a table with thread surrounding  them.

This is a low for this magazine. It seems it is a  desperate measure and a silly use of a pattern to fill in some space, in my opinion. There is nothing that justifies wasting my time and my money to add this silly pattern to this magazine.

Perhaps the publisher needs to rethink her job and it may be time to rotate the uppers ups of the magazines final say so-ers.

It seriously looks like this magazine has taken a down turn. That pattern has to have been designed by someone bored. I will give them credit, they were probably camping or fishing at the time of the bright idea.

Publishing it though, makes this magazine seem to be for those bored, with nothing to do, lay about all day women that eat bon-bons all day. Oop!, that may be in next months pattern, frozen bob-bons, lacey treats. Of course you will need to find the edible thread for those, (I know a site that will let you know where  it may be bought) but those would be  way better than rocks that have string designs on them.

Please , please rethink some of the ideas and patterns before printing them.
