Lace on the Bias

Striking rows of graphic lace make this tank anything but basic. We love it over jeans, shorts, or just about anything for a summer look that’s effortlessly chic.

Correction answers

Just got an email from CT with corrected instructions for the guage swatch:

For sizes S (L, 2X/3X)
Using smaller hook, ch 32.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 5, sk next 5 ch, sc in next ch (OpDiam made); repeat from * across—5 open diamonds.

For sizes M (1X)
Using larger hook, ch 26.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 5, sk next 5 ch, sc in next ch (OpDiam made); repeat from * across—4 open diamonds.

Thank you for posting this! I

Thank you for posting this! I too was confused about the gauge swatch and ended up giving in and checking out the CT website to see if they had anything about it. Luckily you posted this! Thanks again!

corrections question #2

As Vena903 stated, there is a question about the gauge swatch. The whole set of gauge swatch instructions is not adding up.

It reads as follows:

Using smaller hook, ch 30.

Row 1: Ch 1, turn; sc in same ch as join, *ch 5, sk next 5 ch, sc in next ch (OpDiam made); repeat from * to last 5 ch, ch 5, sk last 5 ch; repeat from * around; join with ch 2, htr in first sc (OpDiam join made) -- 5 open diamonds.

This highlighted part is confusing to me. Is the second "repeat from * around" in there by mistake? Row 2 doesn't make sense either. Please help. This pattern is soooo cute and I'd really like to make it.

Correction?

I tried working on this pattern yesterday when I got my magazine but I'm not sure that the directions for the guage swatch are correct. Row 1 says " Ch 1, turn; sc in same ch as join" but we haven't joined anything at that point so I wasn't sure where to start. Help?
