RED HEART Designer Sport, 3oz/85g balls, each approx 279yd/255m (acrylic)

CROCHET HOOK
• Size I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook or any size to obtain correct gauge
• Size K/101⁄2 (6.5mm) crochet hook

NOTIONS
• Pin back or large 21⁄2"/6.5cm safety pin
• Sewing needle and matching sewing thread (optional)
• Yarn needle

I agree with you on that. I always see the new issue in the store first and have to wait to get it in the mail. Being that we are subscribers we would get first and made aware of any special issues before they hit the newsstand. I think when my subscription is up I will just buy it from the local stores.
