Finished measurements

I made a gauge swatch and it came out correct; however, my finished measurements around the yoke are totally off. Also, are there not going to be any corrections made to the back section so that that at the (*) we know where to repeat from?

Everyday Cardi

The instructions for doing the fronts and back are very confusing! Like one reader pointed out it tells you to repeat from the (*) but there isn't one from which to start! I've come too far to give up now but I had to put it down because I'm getting frustrated. Whenever I try it, I end up stopping in the middle of the back. This can't be right, can it? If the directions are correct but confusing others, will someone be generous enough to post how they got around them?

The back...

I'm struggling with the back. I'm doing the size small and I can't figure the instructions (My first attempt at an intermediate pattern). It says to repeat from * but there's no starting * so do I repeat along to the shell for a second time then 2 DC which leaves six unworked clusters where the second front will be - that looks very wrong. I cannot figure out where the 20DC stitches are supposed to be. Sorry for being such a newbie but I really wanted to give this a go.

I figured this out by doing

I figured this out by doing the second front then doing the back, hoping I'd had the right amount of stitches (Which I was off by one but no one will notice as it's in the armpit). I couldn't figure out the symmetry otherwise. Now just to finish the rows which I'm much more comfortable with. It's all good practice!

Help

I am trying to make this sweater. I did not purchase the same yarn used in the design but it is of same weight and texture. I did a guage swatch to make sure the needle size would work with the yarn and pattern but I think I made a mistake somewhere. I am working on the body now and only have a few rows left before I put the sleeves on but I have very small holes to fit my arms through did I mess up? Please help!

Got it figured out if you

Got it figured out if you attempt read each row as you go, that was my mistake and use markers.

sizing

I want to make this, and I want to make it in the right size! How did the pattern maker measure the chest size in this pattern? Where should I measure in order to ensure the best fit?

measure across your bust

Our designers use the standard sizing charts for assessing measurements.
