Christmas Stockings


Pom-pom yarn makes a perfectly lush cuff on these roomy stockings.

YARN
RED HEART Holiday, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 235yd/215m (acrylic/ metallic polyester)
• 1 skein #9040 Red/Silver (A)
• 1 skein #6040 Green/Silver (B)
RED HEART Spark a Doodle, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 54yd/50m (polyester/ metallic polyester)
• 1 skein #9001 White (C)
CROCHET HOOK
• Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook or any size to obtain correct gauge
NOTIONS
• Stitch marker
• Yarn needle
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 16"/40.5cm long from top of cuff to toe
GAUGE
13 sc and 16 rows = 4"/10cm square Remember to check gauge for best results!
HOW TO MAKE A GAUGE SWATCH
Ch 14.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across—13 sc.
Rows 2–16 Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.
Resulting gauge swatch should measure approx 4"/10cm square. If necessary, adjust hook size to obtain correct gauge.
