These sweet butterflies are quick to work and make a great seasonal touch for your table.

AUNT LYDIA'S Fashion Crochet Thread, size 3, each ball approx 150yd/137m (cotton)

1 ball #423 Maize (A) 
1 ball #625 Sage (B)
1 ball #264 Lime (C)
1 ball #486 Navy (D)
1 ball #65 Warm Teal (E)

NOTE: Each ball of thread will make many butterflies. Thread suggested should be enough to complete at least 8 place mats.

 CROCHET HOOK
•Size B/1 (2.25mm) crochet hook
Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook

NOTIONS
•Solid colored place mat(s), approx 18.5"/47cm wide x 13"/33cm high
•Sewing needle and matching sewing thread
•Straight pins
•3 skeins of 6-strand embroidery floss to match crochet thread
•Embroidery needle
•Water-soluble fabric marking pen
•Yarn needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
•Place mat: Approx 18.5"/47cm wide x 13"/33cm high
•Small Butterfly: Approx 1.5"/4cm wide (at widest point)
•Medium Butterfly: Approx 1.75"/4.5cm wide (at widest point)
•Large Butterfly: Approx 3"/7.5cm wide (at widest point)
