There was an instruction missing from Row 1 of the leg instructions. The correction is below in bold:
Round 1 (right side) Do not turn, working in all sts around, 2 sc in first st, sc in each st around to 1 st before next marker, 2 sc in next 2 sts, sc in each st across heel, 2 sc in last st; join with sl st in first sc—28 sc. Remove markers.

The last line of "EARS" should read:
Repeat Round 4 until piece measures 2½"/6.5cm. Fasten off.

Submitted by jkdement on Wed, 2009-08-12 11:51.Having trouble with pattern...on left panel, it says to mark front edge and side edge. It only makes sense to me that the side edge would be the edge being worked on after marking. It says to continue in pattern dec and inc at edges as stated until side edge measures 10" for small size. If this is correct, my piece, which matched the stated gauge, is already 10" when the side measured 8" - therefore no inc or dec shaping would take place.
Would love some help as this looks great, just very confusing on how it goes together!
