Kiddie Car Coat, page 94
There is an error in the on Page 94 of this sweater. Please note the following corrections in bold:
Left Front should be labeled Right Front, therefore, the first row of Back should read:
Row 1 With right side facing, join A with sl st in same sc as last half shell worked on last row of Bottom following Right Front.

Submitted by cashmere01 on Wed, 2009-06-17 08:53.I think there is also a problem with the Ocean Waves throw pattern. I tried it and
it just went in circles! I'm not advanced enough to work a fix. Anyone? Beautiful throw, would love to
make one.

Submitted by CrochetBelle on Wed, 2009-06-17 20:22.I am half way finished...but I did not find any errors in the pattern. How many rows did you get before you noticed something wrong? I know I missed a stitch on one of the Navy rows and it threw my entire row off, so I had to pull that row out and start again...but once I found the stitch, it all went well. Check out my blog for a picture of this throw:

I'm still working on it, I want to make it longer.

Submitted by maxinek48 on Sun, 2009-07-05 11:52.I have also been having problems with this pattern. It starts to curl when I start the first row. In the pattern it says 3 dc in next 3 sts. Does that mean 3 dc in each of the next stitches or 1 dc in each of the next stitches. I could sure use some help on it. I'm trying to make it as a gift. Help!!

Submitted by Andromeda on Fri, 2009-07-24 20:06.You have to do 3 dc in each of the next 3 stitches. So you will have a total of 9 dc (they look like 3 little fans or shells) This gives the pattern the top "waves." I hope that makes more sense.
I just finished the throw and it is beautiful! I did find that the yarn was a bit stiff and the stitches were kind of tight and rippled (I do tend to crochet tightly). I used my clothes steamer to try to sort of iron it out and it worked like a charm! The stitches opened a bit and the yarn softened. It's perfect now, so soft, I love it!
