Reimagined in Crochet: Downton Abbey

We’re big fans of Downton Abbey at Crochet Today, so we thought we’d put the two together in this just-for-the-fun-of-it blog. Enjoy!

Lady Mary

She can show off her dark side in the March Motifs shawl or look pretty in pink in our Frosted Waves pullover.

Matthew Crawley

Keep him dapper in our Secret Agent Tie.

Cora, Countess of Grantham

The lady is lovely in red and would look gorgeous in our Elegant Fringed Shawl.

Lady Sybil

We were so sad to see her go! We loved her flair for style in a fun headband.

Lady Edith

Wedding day bliss (we hope) for Lady Edith in a bridal headband.

Daisy

Daisy would look so darling in this Lattice and Swirls Top.

Anna

Those maid headbands are so early 20th century; a crafty headband will do better.

Lavinia Swire

She didn’t last long but we still like her ease with color; the Kerala Tank for her.

Ethel Parks

She’s had it rough so we want to give her a style boost with our Petunia Hat

Violet Crawley

Last but not least, the Countess of Grantham, who we like to think of as a romantic in our Romantic Shawl.  We also like these violet pillows to spruce up her parlor.

Downton Abbey

I'm currently working on the Romantic Shawl for a 50th birthday present for my youngest cousin! I found this absolutely delicious pink superwash merino shot through with a metallic thread -- it's working up beautifully!
