Hungry yet? See what crochet can do for food...
Famous for her unique crocheted food, Kate Jenkins takes a nostalgic look at everyday items, re-invented in yarn with wry, comic touches. She has exhibited in several countries and her work is collected worldwide. Of course, her French fries wear berets!
Graduating from the University of Brighton in 1995 with a degree in Fashion & Textile, Kate worked as a successful knitting consultant, selling her designs to fashion labels Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Sonia Rykiel, and Donna Karan before establishing her own label Cardigan in 2003.
Don't you love Kate's sequined sardines? And her Japanese dinner definitely looks good enough to eat--notice the pun label on the "soy" sauce bottle. Don't forget to brush after you eat!
